I have previously been exposed to the shitty Alpha Video release of this and I was sufficiently impressed to buy the Code Red version, so your review has kinda inspired me to bust this one out in the not-too-distant future.J. If you like atmosphere like what's in LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH, than this is on that same level. Royal Dano has been in pretty much everything as a good and bad guy so it's great to see him in anything. Elisha Cook Jr. I seen in a lot of things, too. <br /><br />I also like the supermarket and movie theater sequences. Both are unnerving as all hell. Definitely a movie well worth buying.venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-59042876605968369252010-09-09T09:48:25.070-07:002010-09-09T09:48:25.070-07:00@ Will: I didn't spoil anything here on this o...@ Will: I didn't spoil anything here on this one as it's a movie that yields some great creepy moments worth discovering for oneself. Yeah the featurette interviewing the makers talks about working with Lucas on AMERICAN GRAFFITI. You should definitely give this one a go. A shame Code Red isn't selling many discs. They got some great good and bad stuff out there.venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-72908619263246805132010-09-09T09:40:52.402-07:002010-09-09T09:40:52.402-07:00Directed by Willard Huyck? I originally saw this because an acquaintance from my youth in Philly sang the theme song, never dreaming it would be a film that would haunt me for life. Just haven't gotten around to it for some reason. That being said, I agree with Samuel's comment... even with the shitty print, it's quite effective. Love the atmosphere in this one. When I watched HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER a couple of months ago, I didn't even realize that the blonde from that movie that Clint Eastwood's character raped was the lead actress in this.
