I want to hunt this one down along with Syngenor...never saw either one of them. I assume it had already been pulled and they'd forgotten to take it off the page, or something. Not sure, but I recall somebody posted on the official CR page about it. Bill responded that MGM owned it. Somebody contacted Malone who said MGM has never owned it, that he did. Suddenly, it was gone. So possibly MGM does own it (they own Trans World titles like the Sho Kosugi movies) and that put the kaput on the release. I think I heard Synapse was the company that was interested, but they'd had a similar occurrence with INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN when they thought it was with somebody else but was actually with MGM. A shame, as I was anxious to get a copy of that one, and especially for the extras. venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-1977593574402379582015-04-16T03:54:54.501-07:002015-04-16T03:54:54.501-07:00I was lucky enough to score one of those DVD's...I was lucky enough to score one of those DVD's during it's brief window. I wonder what happened with the proposed wider release - rights issues or something ?
Nice write-up Brian. I've always enjoyed this movie.

Dick https://www.blogger.com/profile/00409849079342411514noreply@blogger.com
