The following for these kinds of films is very small here in America at this time. I don't mind settling for the foreign releases so long as I get to see the films the way they were meant to be seen.

Gordon Scott is my favorite out of the actors that did these movies. He had a good degree of charisma lacking in some of the others.

Thanks for stopping by, Cuki!venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-44500945999572198092010-09-22T09:53:23.152-07:002010-09-22T09:53:23.152-07:00I have a great passion for this kind of film.I have a great passion for this kind of film.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-16414138570276060952010-09-22T09:40:23.732-07:002010-09-22T09:40:23.732-07:00Good luck on your novel, Richard!Good luck on your novel, Richard!venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-32142253719872181562010-09-22T09:39:06.384-07:002010-09-22T09:39:06.384-07:00They don't focus on the legend of St. Mark, ju...They don't focus on the legend of St. Mark, just that Gordon Scott's character dons a mask and fights the pirates under the guise of the Lion. There's some nice shots of them on boats at the end with a golden winged Lion as the masthead. Apparently, the dubbed version is missing close to 20 minutes so it's likely the bulk of that is exposition as is more often the case. It's a fun movie, though, if like these kinds of things and Gordon Scott in particular.venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-43861193863609031692010-09-22T03:56:37.499-07:002010-09-22T03:56:37.499-07:00I have to see this movie! I agree about HERCULES VS. THE SEA MONSTER aka PRINCESS OF TROY. I remember a gorgeous print of that played on New Years Eve long ago on the TNT network.venoms5https://www.blogger.com/profile/13655919099947763891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2467807781586384838.post-68494435418976636982010-09-21T18:44:35.841-07:002010-09-21T18:44:35.841-07:00This might be okay to check out! The elaborate mechanical monster used at the end of it cost quite a bit, by 1960's standards!R.A.M.'67https://www.blogger.com/profile/12817535165296807817noreply@blogger.com
